This is my 19th year at Montecito Union School. I began teaching part time as an EL teacher then started working in my current position as a Reading Specialist. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree and teaching credential from Arizona State University. Since then I have taught in several public school districts, as well as a private school, and have worked with students in all of the elementary grades. Teaching children to read or improve their reading skills has always been my passion and I am very fortunate to be working at MUS.
